WAYNE SIMPSON

Based in the artistic village of Elora, Ontario, Wayne Simpson is a professional photographer who specializes in dramatic portraiture and landscape photography.

What began as a side passion while working as a graphic designer in Calgary, Alberta, has now blossomed into the full-time, creative endeavour that is proudly Wayne Simpson Photography.

Simpson’s ultimate goal, whether he is photographing a person or a place, is to create images that evoke emotion and a sense of mystery. Exceptionally executed, his portraits hold a mythic quality and hint at a deeper story, beckoning the viewer to wonder about the subject’s life and experience. He actively seeks out many of his subjects and builds a rapport with them before a portrait is created. His award-winning landscape photography, on the other hand, showcases the mood, drama, and extraordinary beauty of the planet’s wilder places and inspires the viewer to appreciate the more subtle details.

While his niche lies in portraiture and landscape photography, Simpson’s versatility as a photographer carries into his commercial work and event photography, making his style distinctive in the industry.

DAVE BROSHA

Dave is a photographer, a dreamer, and a documenter. He is a writer, an explorer, and a purveyor of beauty and light. On a continual journey to seek out and capture the beauty of existence- whether it's the most extreme and pristine environments in our world, or the beauty of humanity - he is a creative who tries to avoid labels and enjoys, first and foremost, storytelling with his photography.

In addition to living throughout northern Canada for much of his life - an area of Canada that he has worked hard to document and share with audiences, he has also lived in Asia and has traveled extensively through both the many provinces and territories of our native country and numerous countries abroad. He now lives on Prince Edward Island on Canada’s East Coast.

He is proudly a Sigma Pro Photographer, A Strobepro Professional, a fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, a Canadian Geographic Ambassador, and the co-founder of the OFFBEAT Photo Community. He is the author of four books: Northern Light, Southern Light, Tones of Grace, and The Art of Misadventure.

ERIN FALKENHAM

Erin’s work has been published in Dear Photographer, Photo Life Lab, and Click Magazine with cover features on both Photo Life, and Photo Solution. Erin believes in furthering your photography education whenever possible and has presented her work through teachings at Land & See Photography Workshop and various photography clubs in Nova Scotia. Erin is a current member & contributor to Unraveled Academy, and brand ambassador of Meridian Presets and Unscripted Posing App.

Giving back is very important to Erin. She has dedicated her time to the following volunteer based organizations: Spectrum Inspired, 4H Nova Scotia (photography leader), and as a perinatal bereavement photographer for local hospitals.

JONI BURTT

Joni is a New Brunswick-based lifestyle and documentary photography for children, families, and couples.  

She’s a mom of two kids and a rescue dog, and a wife of a paramedic.

She’s a self-taught photographer since 2010, and has the following credentials to her name:

  • Named one of “57 Woman Photographers to Watch in 2021” by Shootproof

  • Mentor/speaker at Land and See (photography conference) in 2021 and 2018, focus on photographing childhood

  • Cover photo for the fall edition of Click Magazine in 2017

Joni loves connection, full-on hugs and slight touches. She loves keeping things loose and laughing, or tender and close. She is not into poses, but into capturing how families naturally fall together. She’s into exploring, conversation, vulnerability, intimacy. DAVE MCELLISTRUM

Dave is a passionate people and landscape photographer from Blue Mountains, Ontario. He is drawn to images with a strong sense of light that convey emotion or story. Dave started  shooting exclusively landscapes in 2011 and transitioned to people photography in 2018.

Dave has been fortunate to have his work recognized in a number of international photography contests in the past few years. Key accomplishments include:

  • WPE Professional Photographer Awards – Category winner and Top 30 photographer of the year 2022

  • 35 Awards – Best photographer in Category, Top 100 photo of the year and Top 100 photographer
